Loneliness and Depression

Here are my 10 photos. They aren't what I wanted them to be, but I feel they still convey the message of emptiness and seclusion that comes from depression/loneliness.

  1. The empty chair and dripping petal are most expressive. The dried rose works best in the last photo because it looks like a POV shot. This is more meaningful than when it's positioned on the bench because it invites the viewer to see it in an active way. The turned picture frame works better with the blinds closed because it suggests exclusion from the outside world. The bike tire shots would work better with a different background. The housing suggests people whereas nature may suggest solitude.
